The Woodlands at John Knox Village will be the first skilled nursing center in Florida to adopt The Green House model of care. The Woodlands will feature a total of seven floors and 144 private rooms. Six of the floors are residential living. The ground floor has a multi-purpose room, dining bistro and rehabilitation center. Each residential floor will have two Green House homes. Each home has 12 private bedrooms and bathrooms surrounding an open living room (hearth), kitchen and dining area.

In addition, the medical office building will be accompanied by a 422 space 4-story parking garage.

Description: This project is a shared facility between the City of Miami Police Department and Miami Dade County Public Schools. The four story building is utilized for grades 9-12. The site has classrooms, forensic labs, administration, kitchen/dining, gym, locker rooms, media center, auditorium, firing range, student dormitory and a pedestrian bridge for the Policing College. The site features include above ground storage tanks, bus drop off, covered walkway, landscaping, fencing, loading area, elevated plaza and all related support spaces.
